Cardiovascular Sonographer
MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echocardiography Technologist) to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Ohio. As a valued member of our medical team, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality echocardiograms and ultrasound procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive echocardiographic exams including adult transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
  • Ensure optimal image quality, accurately documenting patient information and test results.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate findings to the medical team.
  • Educate patients on procedures and provide comfort throughout the examination process.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety standards.
  • Stay current with the latest techniques in cardiovascular sonography and participate in ongoing education.
Qualifications:
  • Certification: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Expertise in echocardiography and cardiovascular imaging, strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, and excellent patient communication skills.
  • State License: Current state licensure as a Cardiovascular Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist (Ohio).
  • BLS Certification required (must obtain within 30 days of employment).
