Job description

Become an integral part of WSP as an Intermediate Signaling Engineer, dedicated to advancing rail systems in Toronto and Thornhill, Ontario. Your role will focus on creating safe and innovative signaling solutions.
In this role, you will engage with multidisciplinary teams to execute complex projects while applying your engineering skills. Responsibilities include developing signaling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers, all supported by a strong leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop rail signaling systems and analyze their performance
• Create technical specifications and design packages
• Validate signaling designs through technical checks
• Draft compliant signaling arrangements per codes
• Provide technical insights in client interactions
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• P.Eng. certification in Ontario or EIT eligibility
• 5+ years in Rail Systems Engineering
• Expertise in conventional signaling
• Familiarity with rail industry regulations
