About this role
Salesforce is betting big on the future, and our leadership is emboldening its teams to go big and go fast. To keep up, it is our top priority to ensure that our global teams and partners have the strategic perspective, brand strategy, and enablement resources they need to act as brand ambassadors.

We are looking for an AI-forward Brand Strategist who is passionate about global-scale brand building. In this role, you will be a core engine of the Brand Strategy team, supporting our overarching brand systems, positioning, and non-product naming initiatives, while acting as our internal AI pioneer.

You will not only help support the brand ecosystem, but you will actively build and experiment with the AI tools, prompts, and workflows that help our team scale our strategy across the company. By marrying foundational brand strategy with modern AI enablement, you will ensure our team works smarter, faster, and more cohesively as we manage the Salesforce brand globally.

What you will do

  • Drive AI innovation & enablement: Proactively build, test, and optimize brand strategy-related AI tools, templates, and automated workflows to scale brand systems, speed up data synthesis, and empower the broader team. Keep a constant pulse on the intersection of brand and emerging technology, bringing fresh AI workflows and innovative practices to the team.

  • Build foundational strategy: Support in the development, documentation, and evolution of the core Salesforce brand identity, positioning, and narrative.

  • Build and maintain brand systems: Help update the structural frameworks, brand tools, and guidelines that guide how the Salesforce brand shows up across global business units.

  • Develop brand architecture & naming recommendations: Support the execution of non-product naming requests, internal program branding, and M&A brand integration mapping under the guidance of brand strategy leadership.

  • Synthesize insights & monitor trends: Leverage data from our Global Brand Health Study and other market research to turn complex findings into actionable, easy-to-understand strategic reports.

What experience you have

  • 6+ years of experience in brand strategy, brand insights, or brand management at an agency, consultancy, or global tech brand.

  • An AI-first mindset with hands-on experience using modern AI tools to optimize your own workflows, analyze data, and build efficiency tools for a team.

  • Solid understanding of foundational brand principles, including positioning, brand architecture, and brand identity systems.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from brand health trackers, competitive auditing, and market research and translate it into clear, actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling presentations and clear documentation.

  • A systems-thinking mindset - you like to organize information, create frameworks, and build tools that make the complex simple.

  • BA/BS required; MBA a plus.

Why you are excited about this role

  • You are an optimist who wants to define how AI transforms the discipline of brand strategy.

  • You love the foundational side of branding - organizing systems, defining architecture, and codifying brand rules.

  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty building tools and workflows that make your team more efficient.

  • You are eager to learn from senior leadership and grow your career at one of the world's most influential tech companies.

Why we are excited about you

  • You understand that great strategy is only as good as its execution and the people, tools, and systems that support it.

  • You bring a fresh, tech-forward perspective to traditional brand strategy challenges.

  • You are highly adaptable and thrive in ambiguity, equally comfortable reviewing a brand architecture framework as you are configuring a new AI assistant for the team.

  • You are a self-starter who doesn't wait to be told how to innovate - you proactively find ways to make our tools and processes better.

  • You love brand and are a champion of how it drives business growth.

  • Above all, you are a simplifier and storyteller.
