Job Description

The Director, CMS Stablecoin ProductDevelopment will lead the strategy, product definition, andend-to-enddelivery ofstablecoin-enabledcapabilities acrossthe Commercial& Money MovementSolutionsorganization (CMS). It will focus onprefunding and payouts solutions to start. This role spans product strategy,build, partner ecosystem development, multiregional scaling, and commercializationof stablecoinmoney movementsolutions. You will work closely witha variety of internal stakeholders such asTechnology, Regions,Legal, Compliance, Risk,Licensingand external partners to bring stablecoin products from concept to global adoption,whilstensuring they are safe, compliant, and commercially impactful.

Core Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

  • Identifyand prioritize new opportunities across Web3, digital assets, and programmable payments.Define and evolve CMS's stablecoin product strategy across prefundingandpayouts.
  • Develop and managerequiredpartner strategies across stablecoin issuers, wallets, and on/off-ramp providers.
  • Trackindustry trends creating opportunities, themes in customer feedback, and ecosystem providers, to prioritize potential use cases.

2. Product Development & Delivery

  • Define commercial models,outlook on revenue opportunity,and time to revenue within use cases and proposed solutions.
  • Oversee development of stablecoin-enabled CMS capabilitiesfor money movement, ensuring clarity of requirements, readiness, safety, and pathtoGA milestones.
  • Lead the build and expansion of prefunding and payout flows using stablecoins, including global rollout plans and operating models.
  • Define the strategy and requirements for new use cases such as P2P payouts.
  • Ensure roadmap adherence, capability delivery, and strongcross functionalexecution.

3. Money Movement Ownership

  • End-to-enddesign, governance, and optimization of prefunding, payouts, and settlement workflowsfor CMS stablecoins.
  • Maintain clear performance, risk, and operational health metrics forstablecoin enabledtransactions.
  • Partner with regions to localize models for regulatory alignment, client readiness, and scalable deployment.

4. Customer Discovery & Commercial Solutioning

  • Lead with customer-centric mindset and bring propositions to customers for feedback and co-design.
  • Translatecustomerneedsinto product requirements, pilot structures, andpricingplans.
  • Serve as CMS's stablecoin expert in client engagements, executive briefings, and partner forumsfor money movement.

6. Go-to-Market & Field Enablement

  • For proposed use cases, articulate ideal customer profiles so itiseasy for sales to understand who solutions are and are not for.
  • Supportdevelopment ofclient-facingplaybooks, value propositions, compliance FAQs, and sales collateral.
  • Support commercialization strategies and drive field readiness across regions, such as supportingregional sales teams with RFP guidance, competitive positioning, and product education.

7. Performance, Governance & Optimization

  • Define and own KPIs including product readiness, client adoption, revenue contribution, and volume growth.
  • Lead executive communications, surfacing decisions,tradeoffs, and investment requirements.
  • Improve product delivery processes, partner models, and commercialization frameworks.

Qualifications

Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred.10+ years of experience in product management, payments, fintech, or related fields.Experience with B2B payments, stablecoins, digital assets, blockchain, or money movement infrastructure.Demonstrated ability to drive cross functional product development from 0 1, including defining requirements, navigating ambiguity, and bringing new capabilities to market.Proven track record of leading go-to-market execution across regions and partner ecosystems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical and regulatory concepts.Excellent communication, executive level storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.Experience operating in fast paced, matrixed global organizations with multiple cross functional partners (Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Regions).Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery and execution.High degree of comfort with emerging technologies, experimentation, and navigating evolving regulatory landscapes.Preferred QualificationsDeep familiarity with stablecoin mechanics (reserve models, custody, mint/burn flows, settlement models).Experience working with wallet providers, stablecoin issuers, payment processors, or on/offramp partners.Understanding of Visa, Visa Direct, and commercial card ecosystems.Experience designing or launching programmable money, tokenized value, or real-time payment solutions.Prior ownership of commercialization or revenue-driving responsibilities.Ability to develop clear frameworks and prioritize across multiregional product demands.Strong bias toward action, learning, and iteration in emerging tech environments.Additional InformationThis position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and Wellness Programs.Physical requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.
