Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager for Visa Payment Passkey, you will build world class consumer authentication products that will transform the landscape of payment authentication. You will develop solutions that help worldwide consumers reduce checkout friction and seamlessly authenticate purchases directly with merchants and through AI agents. You will help shape Visa's near and long-term strategy on consumer authentication, consumer payments and related solutions and deliver a product roadmap that brings that strategy to life.

A strong candidate will have experience leading data-driven product discovery to launch 0-1 consumer products. The candidate will have a keen eye for improving user experiences and strong technical skills to optimize front-end and back-end solutions.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-starter, highly organized and deeply understand the mindset of consumers navigating checkout and payment journeys. You will need to able to execute all phases of product management from concept to delivery of new product lines and enhancements to existing consumer authentication flows. You will also need to manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Visa Payment Passkey and consumer authentication products
  • Develop clear and compelling product narratives that effectively illustrate the problem space and possible solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure that our strategy is optimized to meet client needs, driving innovation and ensuring product-market-fit
  • Understand the broad set of Visa's product capabilities and identify opportunities to collaborate and create unique solutions to complex problems
  • Monitor consumer authentication and digital payments market trends and the competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities
  • Continuously collect and interpret market needs from clients, internal users, through market research, and synthesize findings to create and execute new product opportunities
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond, ensuring timely delivery of products to market. Advocate for efficiency improvements in product operations and PDLC
  • Drive the product management and development methodology and process from concept through delivery
  • Participate in scrum processes, and ceremonies for product and engineering are followed (prioritize the backlog, create features, coordinate and oversee release planning and execution, ensure process improvements through retrospectives)

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD 5+ years of experience building direct to consumer digital products Proficient in Figma (or equivalent design tools) to design basic UI flows Hands-on experience with A/B testing and cohort analysis Strong technical knowledge of frontend and backend architecture Experience in data and hypothesis driven product development 7+ years of experience building direct to consumer digital products Prior experience building checkout flows for e-commerce merchants or marketplaces is a big plus Ability to independently write and execute SQL queries

The estimated salary range for this positionis $169,100.00 to $ 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
