Job Description
Visa Direct is a money movement service that Visa provides to clients such as issuers, acquirers, processors, fintechs, merchants and service providers to facilitate embedded end to end domestic and global funds transfers.
Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person to person transfer, person to micro business transfer, funds disbursement, bill payment, cross-border remittance and more.
The Visa Direct Sales Analyst will drive sales acceleration and be part of building a new ecosystem in the fast-moving world of payments.
This role will be responsible for selling directly to potential clients across multiple emerging segments, partnering with sales leaders to achieve critical sales targets, and contributing to the continued growth of Visa Direct.
We will be working in an agile environment so this person must be influential in demonstrating the value of Visa Direct, proactive in ensuring we achieve our goals, and skilled in pivoting and adjusting as new information and lessons learned come to light.
This is a matrixed, cross functional role so organizational savvy and interpersonal skills are critical, as we interface with specialized product groups, financial institution sales, digital partnership sales, client consulting, marketing, and corporate communications, legal, and finance to coordinate the end goal of achieving aspirational objectives.
Visa is looking for an individual who is a thought leader in strategy and business growth with a consistent track record of success in fast paced environments with demanding timelines.
Essential Functions:
  • Achieve or exceed individual Visa Direct sales goal, in partnership with account executives and sales teams.
  • Own top-of-funnel strategy and prospecting plan for priority emerging verticals (e.g., marketplaces, content creator platforms, payroll/wages and workforce automation), including target list development, outreach sequencing, and qualification.
  • Responsible for team pipeline reporting and management, including maintaining CRM hygiene, tracking stage progression and producing monthly / quarterly rollups, insights and forecasts.
  • Develop sales collateral and client-ready content for new Visa Direct use cases, coordinating with Product and Marketing to articulate value propositions, workflows and proof points.
  • Represent Visa Direct at select conferences and tradeshows by engaging with clients, prospects, and partners; coordinate client meetings with the leadership team, including scheduling, briefing materials, and follow-ups.
  • Take clients through the sales cycle from prospecting to solutioning to deal structure to contract Work with Visa Generalist Account Executives to cross-sell Visa Direct solution where a good fit exists .

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
3 years of SDR and consultative selling experiences with a Bachelor's degree, including fintech sales, new / emerging vertical sales and cross border payments sales in a merchant or fintech environment
Creative self-starter with proven track record for developing a sales funnel in new segments / verticals thru cold outreach; ability to convert prospects into qualified leads and meetings.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; comfortable leveraging AI and adopting new tools to improve productivity and quality of outputs.
Highly skilled problem solver with a strong focus on delivering for clients
Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written, and executive presence, must be able to collaborate with our most senior client executives
Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way to drive adoption
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and to identify new ways to approach common problems
Passionate about what you do and excited about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader
Strong team player, self-motivated with the ability to operate independently with little oversight, in a highly matrixed environment
Financial payment industry knowledge required, push payments, real-time payments and cross border payments experience

The estimated salary range for this position is $149,000.00 to $ 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
