The UKG Trainer is responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs related to UKG Workforce Management solutions, including Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, and Attendance. Partners with operational leaders, HR, payroll, and IT to ensure end-users are proficient in system functionality, workflows, and policies.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, develop, and maintain training materials, quick reference guides, and FAQs for UKG modules that integrate operations, payroll, HR policy, and system functionality
  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and on-demand training sessions
  • Customize training content to align with organizational policies, workflows, and use cases
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on UKG Timekeeping and Scheduling functionality
  • Support change management efforts related to system updates or new features
  • Assist users with workflow questions and reinforce best practices
  • Identify training gaps based on system usage, error trends, and stakeholder feedback
  • Recommend enhancements to configuration or processes that improve user experience and data accuracy
  • Track training attendance and competency where applicable
  • Develop metrics to evaluate training effectiveness
  • Partner with members of HR, Finance, and IT to understand the policies and processes in place that govern UKG

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY DEMANDS:
Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of experience in a formal classroom setting or equivalent environment with excellent classroom facilitation/speaking skills and strong understanding of training methodology. Previous experience providing training with a Timekeeping & Scheduling solution is preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Knowledge of UKG terminology and environment a plus. Knowledge of labor productivity, staffing optimization, or workforce analytics a plus. Strong communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills required to work effectively with all levels across the organization. Knowledge of the concepts, standards and practices related to adult learning and educational effectiveness. Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for delivering formal and informal training programs and evaluating their effectiveness. Ability to convey technical information effectively through verbal and written communication. Well-developed analytical, organizational, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the user community. Ability to read, understand, interpret and apply technical manuals and documentation.
