POSITION OVERVIEW
As Digital Factory Systems Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and deploy Tulip-based MES applications to support manufacturing operations
- Integrate Tulip with enterprise systems such as SAP, CMMS, and other platforms
- Design, implement, and maintain analytics and dashboards using Power BI and Tulip Analytics
- Evaluate new digital solutions and conduct onsite proof-of-concept testing
- Support enhancements to end-of-line test cells
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support deployed applications
- Manage assigned project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Ensure manufacturing data integrity and system accuracy
- Conduct training sessions and provide knowledge transfer to operations teams
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Digital Factory Systems Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Digital Factory Systems Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience supporting manufacturing operations technology
Preferred Qualifications- Experience managing technical projects (requirements, budgets, timelines, change management)
- Demonstrated success using technology to improve manufacturing performance
- Experience leading workshops to gather and document complex manufacturing requirements
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting manufacturing systems, including:
- MES (preferred)
- QMS, PLCs, SCADA, Data Historians, CMMS
- Computer vision systems
- Proficiency in OT programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar
- Strong SQL skills (complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions)
- Experience with OT integration standards such as OPC and MQTT
- Experience designing and developing cloud-based analytics and reporting solutions
- Experience integrating OT systems with enterprise platforms using REST APIs
