  • A team player who can work in different environments and has the aptitude to solve all types of service problems.  

Description:
Hit the road, build relationships, and make a difference wherever you go! As a Field Service Technician, you'll work with some of the nation's most respected healthcare organizations and leading research institutions to implement systems that reduce errors, improve tracking, and automate the monitoring of environmental data. You'll have an integral role in the installation and decision-making processes leading up to an organization's "go-live" on Isensix's wireless monitoring system.

The Field Service Technician is responsible for directing the project's resources, developing the project plan, and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget and per best practices to ensure a quality implementation. Field Service Technicians install equipment-monitoring devices, troubleshoot system issues, conduct onsite training and provide onsite customer support. The Field Service Technicians also plays a primary role interfacing and coordinating with customers and management.


Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Office Applications knowledge
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Basic computer network knowledge

Other Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a laboratory environment and general knowledge of GLPs (Good Laboratory Practices)
  • Ability to conduct on-site customer training
  • Effective and personable communication
  • Organization and time management
  • Willingness to travel nationally
  • Represent Company in a professional manner 
  • 2-5 years progressive related work experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Physical/Travel Requirements

  • Field service trips may require extended periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs., gripping, wrenching, and twisting. 
  • In addition, the candidate must be able to work overtime when required, maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, have a valid passport, and the ability to travel for extended periods of time. Individuals may be required to pass a customer site credentials/background check.

Preferred Work Location(s): Chicago, IL or Cleveland, OH. Due to the nature of the position, extensive travel is expected, and the preferred locations are intended to support efficient travel within the assigned geography.
