    Position: Branch Manager
    Reports To: Regional Manager
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed | 8 AM - 5 PM
    Compensation: Weekly Pay | $85,000 + Monthly Bonus
    Location: Elgin, IL

    JOB SUMMARY:
    The Branch Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Midway Staffing Branch. This role is responsible for their team’s performance within the respective branch to ensure that all recruitment and onboarding metrics are being met. This role will also serve as a point of contact for Midway Staffing clients.
     
    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Manage the branch’s day-to-day operations, including overseeing operational functions such as payroll
    • and reporting responsibilities and recruitment activities.
    • Monitors employees’ performance to establish and measure performance against KPI’s to ensure
    • the organization is meeting client expectations.
    • Act as the client’s first form of contact on job orders, temporary employee concerns, and other
    • related business questions.
    • Support branch sales representative and monitor new account development; develop multi-level
    • relationships in client organizations to assure retention and further development.
    • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
    • Establish and communicate goals, objectives, and incentives to your staff regularly.
    • Analyze branch numbers against defined goals on an ongoing weekly and monthly basis.
    • Partner with the Risk Management, Human Resources, and Compliance team to promote safety
    • initiatives within Midway Branches and client sites.
    • Interview potential staff members for branch team and provide feedback to talent acquisition team.
    • Provide training and coaching to team members on essential job duties.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
     
    EDUCATION:
    • High School Diploma or GED, required. 
    • Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s in business
    • administration, Human Resources, or related field, preferred.
     
    EXPERIENCE:
    • 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership experience specifically in the staffing industry or a similar
    • fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
    • Proven knowledge of Human Resources management and strategy, encompassing recruitment.
    • talent development, employee relations, and workforce planning.
     
    REQUIRED SKILLS:
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Self-starter with excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
    • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of
    • confidentiality
    • Knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Ability to multi-task several functions, including answering phones, emails, job orders, and more
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or related software
     
    TRAVEL:
    Required to travel 40% of the time to client sites and other Midway Staffing branches, this role will need reliable transportation.
     
    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This work environment is an office setting where work is performed sitting at a desk. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but can become louder based on the volume of incoming candidates.
