To thrive as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you need a strong background in process optimization, data analysis, and problem-solving, often supported by a degree in engineering or a related field. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, and tools such as Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and statistical analysis software is typically required, with certifications like Lean Six Sigma being highly valued.
