Senior Oracle EBS Applications Developer
Dallas, TX – Hybrid onsite 3 days per week
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle EBS Applications Developer responsible for all aspects of on-premise Oracle EBS development. This role includes designing and implementing interfaces and web services that integrate Oracle Cloud solutions, customers, and partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise and a collaborative approach within the IT organization to ensure high availability, security, and optimal system performance.
The role requires close collaboration with IT teams to support projects and production system operations. Responsibilities include working with business users and IT Analysts to transform functional specifications into technical designs, developing and testing solutions, and preparing them for deployment. Additionally, ongoing production support and maintenance of implemented functions are key components of this position.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise throughout all lifecycle phases of Oracle eBusiness R12 system implementations.
  • Support daily business operations by working closely with IT support staff to ensure system availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications based on functional design discussions or documentation.
  • Design, develop, and support new and existing programs and web services according to technical specifications.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Oracle EBS and cloud-based applications.
  • Conduct unit and system testing of all technical functions, collaborating with IT Analysts and project teams.
  • Create migration scripts with rollback procedures for all production deployments.
  • Identify, research, and provide recommendations on technical issues, risks, and considerations during business operations and implementation projects.
  • Participate in production change request processes related to Oracle EBS and other platforms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide insights into technology options for the organization.

Requirements
  • 5 years of experience working with Oracle eBusiness R12 Applications.
  • Extensive experience in Oracle EBS R12 setup and implementation.
  • Expertise in PL/SQL for developing and maintaining critical business functions.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF).

Nice to have
  • Experience in developing Oracle Application Express (APEX) functions to enhance business processes and reporting.
