The Opportunity
As a Senior Data Engineer - Senior Manager, you will leverage data and analytics to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making for clients. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage. As a Senior Manager, you will utilize your skills and professional network to deliver quality results, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. You will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate, while fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment.
In this role at PwC, you will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities. You will validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback. Your ability to navigate complexity and demonstrate composure in challenging situations will contribute to the success of our firm. This position offers the chance to deepen your skills and stay relevant in the ever-evolving field of data and analytics, making a significant impact on both client success and the growth of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Developing innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage (solution optimization and roadmap development)
- Utilizing advanced analytics techniques to support client operations and strategic goals (AWS data engineering and Redshift)
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence efforts -(DataStage, ETL)
- Implementing data visualization tools to provide actionable insights and improve client outcomes -(SQL Server, DB2)
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address data challenges and opportunities (Managed services, and SLAs)
- Coaching and motivating teams to solve complex problems and deliver quality results
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities within client projects (workload orchestration and scheduling)
- Validating outcomes with clients and acting on feedback to refine solutions -(CSAT and performance tuning)
- Directing teams through ambiguous and challenging situations with composure and sound judgment
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer and Information Science & Accounting, Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Finance & Technology, Operations Management/Research, Statistics, Engineering
- Demonstrating advanced skills in data architecture development and data pipeline management
- Utilizing Python and Java for complex data analysis and visualization
- Excelling in business intelligence tools like QlikView and Oracle BI
- Leading strategic questioning and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Applying systems thinking to identify and address underlying problems
- Directing teams through complex and ambiguous situations

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
