Your Team & Role

Prudential's CTO organization is hiring a Technical Lead to develop and drive the product vision and strategy as one of the closest people in the business to the customer, providing constant feedback to the team and helping to set and drive toward the vision.

The Identity and Access Management Team is a diverse group working on multiple areas in the world of identity and access management, cloud computing, software engineering, and general layered security in an enterprise. The projects range from new and unique authentication methods used for multi-factor authentication and standard authentication to complete restructuring of frameworks and management of Identity.

The Director, Identity and Access Management Tech Lead will collaborate to manage the design, development and operations of the company identity solutions, and will work closely with the Information Security Office and Architecture teams on the overall architecture and strategy decisions.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Operate with the Product Owner to set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate effectively to key stakeholders, peers, and the rest of the team

  • Aid in facilitating the end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production

  • Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with own vision

  • Continuously improve backlog with the team, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized

  • Ensure customer-driven design considering user pain points & usability test results, using market & industry knowledge as well as continual research, to deliver a well-positioned product

  • Analyze, review, and assess features and provide valuable feedback for the team and Product Owner

  • Drive team specific sprint and release plans together with the Scrum Master and organizational technology teams

  • Exercise strong decision-making mandate from executive group to own product end-to-end

  • Work with peer technical leads and Product Owner to construct modular and reusable solutions, and drive adoption through integration and transition

  • Collaboratively design, implement and run enterprise IAM solutions for both workforce and customer

  • Advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards.

  • Manage day-to-day project activities for performing assessments, developing strategies and implementing IAM solutions

  • Assist in requirements gathering and analysis.

  • Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, results-based team environment

  • Understanding of ways to lead a team developing in an Agile environment

  • Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality / time to market imperatives

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Multiple program/project lead expertise

  • Ability to lead and drive time definite deliverables pertaining to enhancing an overarching IAM architecture, consolidating and retiring legacy products and services

  • Expert knowledge in EntraID, Active Directory, and complementary products and services (ADFS, PKI), combined with deep knowledge of multiple IAM services

  • Infrastructure management of the Microsoft ecosystem using Azure and MS System Center Suite. Proficiency with VM provisioning, system patching, configuration management, system monitoring, and automation in all these domains.

  • Cross-forest/domain, disparate AD environment ratification, in addition to facets of complex and comprehensive migration and integration

  • Core competencies in security hardening of Identity platforms and Directories

  • Commensurate skills in developing roadmaps, architecture standards, and blueprints

  • High degree of proficiency in conveying technical to all levels of org/audience

  • Deep knowledge specifically within the Security and Identity arena, including but not limited to RBAC, AuthN, AuthZ, least privilege enforcement

  • Demonstratable PowerShell/scripting and automation expertise

  • Additional code/programming capabilities C#/.Net/Java/Python

  • Wide exposure to audit and compliance engagements and ability to field and tend to PCI/SOX/Fed regulatory requirements and remedial action plans

  • Expertise in LDAP and directory automation, tooling, monitoring, and performance and scalability/capacity analysis and management

  • Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress

  • Strong operational management and ITSM experience in managing engineering teams.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, agile environment

  • Innovative thinking with a passion for problem-solving

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects through the full development lifecycle - specifically IAM solutions

  • Strong background in engineering and operationally running large scale IAM infrastructure

  • Identity Management experience in all the following areas:

    • Microsoft IAM products and infrastructure management

    • Identity Governance and Administration, User Provisioning, Access Certification, Identity Analytics, Role-Based Access Control

    • Privileged Access Management

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $171,500.00 to $257,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
