Associate Veterinarian
Location: Columbus, OH

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
An established privately owned animal hospital in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive team. This position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 24-32 hours per week, making it ideal for veterinarians seeking strong work-life balance while practicing high-quality, relationship-based medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, high-quality medical care to small animal patients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their pets.
Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine surgical procedures as appropriate.
Collaborate with experienced veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Covetrus Pulse electronic medical records software.
Participate in rotating Saturday coverage as part of the regular schedule.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture focused on quality medicine and client service.

Schedule:
Flexible schedule of 24-32 hours per week
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (rotating schedule)
No after-hours, emergency, or on-call responsibilities
No overnight patient care
No walk-in appointments
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Active veterinary license or ability to obtain licensure in the State of Ohio.
Previous clinical experience preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, teamwork, and client relationship-building skills.
Commitment to practicing high-quality, compassionate veterinary medicine.
