Job Description: Setup Technician | Charlotte, MI Salary Range: $43,000 - $68,000 depending on experience Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for machine setup and ensuring efficient production changeovers? We partner with leading manufacturing companies in Charlotte, seeking experienced Setup Technicians to strengthen their teams. If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Setup Technicians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively.   • Assemble and disassemble manufacturing equipment according to blueprints and safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
  • Transport and position heavy machinery using forklifts and other lifting devices.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve setup processes and efficiency.
  • Document equipment status, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during equipment setup and operation.
Recommended Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a manufacturing setup or machine operation role
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Basic understanding of PLC controls and automation systems
