Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
I. Administrative:
A. Provides written reports pertaining to materials required for Production.
II. Technical:
A. Provides support to the Process R&D labs, including sampling and repackaging of material, waste pumping or removal of waste from lab areas, deliveries to the labs and ensuring that lab materials are decremented from inventory.
B. May provide input and recommendations on methods and operating procedure development as required.
C. May order materials to maintain set max/min stock levels.
D. Inspects and receives all incoming materials using the ERP system in accordance with SOPs.
E. Ensures consistency of labels (Manufacturer/Receiving/Quality Status) and segregation of materials within the warehouse.
F. Ensures the accuracy of site inventory by reporting discrepancies and the removal of materials from the warehouse. Maintains the integrity of the inventory location system by performing the appropriate transactions in EBS.
G. Samples and repackages raw materials, consumables, intermediate and final products according to the appropriate ABSOP and Material Specification.
H. Performs offloading of bulk trucks and removal of waste materials from the site according to SOPs.
J. Provides coverage for other warehouse positions when required.
K. Ensures all warehouse areas are clean and well organized
III. Safety and Environment:
A. Regularly attends both Warehouse and Department safety meetings and brings any concerns regarding safety to management.
B. Reports any chemical spills and damage to equipment, material and property.
C. Ensures that procedures for accident/incident/near miss reporting are carried out as outlined in the company Safety Policy.
IV. Quality:
A. Ensures the work areas and paperwork are maintained to a high level of cGMP.
B. Maintains all logbooks. Chart Recorder Logs and Calibration Charts as required by our SOPs.
C. Follows all procedures as written.
D. Regularly attends in-house training and documents same in their personal training record.
V. Other Duties:
A. As identified/assigned by management from time to time.
