General Summary:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leverages advanced Camera Engineering knowledge to research, design, develop, verify, debug, implement, and/or validate complex camera systems, SW or System tasks (including Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Features, and Tuning Tools), algorithms, features, modeling, and optimization.
  • Performs architecture, IQ modules, algorithm, and feature decomposition to drive complex requirements and specifications to improve overall image quality for different features.
  • Ensures advanced image quality, system performance, and ISP area and power metrics are met. Addresses customer/product requirements in functionality and results. Supports customer features to achieve optimal image quality and identify implementation and/or configuration error.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize camera systems, hardware, and/or software.
  • Writes detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex Camera projects to guide users and/or customers to implement output.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
