Shift: 2nd Shift (3:24 PM – 11:54 PM)
Pay Rate: $17.70 per hour (paid weekly)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (for qualified candidates)


Position Overview

Adecco is currently seeking an Associate Material Handler for a leading medical device manufacturer in Largo, FL. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity within a fast-paced warehouse environment, offering the potential for long-term employment.

The Associate Material Handler supports daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, packaging, and shipping materials. This role is essential in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring efficient material flow throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, package, and ship orders from inventory

  • Receive incoming materials and distribute to production and internal departments

  • Process purchase receipts and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Organize and store materials in accordance with established warehouse procedures

  • Transport materials between buildings, as needed

  • Assist with monthly physical inventory counts

  • Replenish primary inventory locations to support production needs

  • Support mailroom operations, including processing incoming/outgoing mail and internal deliveries

  • Maintain 6S standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Train team members as needed

  • Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Complete additional duties or special projects as assigned


General Expectations
  • Willingness to rotate across multiple warehouse functions within a team environment

  • Adherence to all safety policies and procedures

  • Availability to work scheduled overtime, as required

  • Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a positive, performance-driven attitude


Qualifications
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required

  • Basic math skills (ability to calculate counts, weights, and shipping details)

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to safely handle materials, including hazardous substances, in compliance with safety procedures


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift

Pay Details: $17.70 per hour
