Qualifications

Minimum Requirements upon hire:

Minimum of (3) years of prior peace office experience from a Federal, state, county, or local law enforcement agency AND completion of Peace officer Standards and Training (POST) academy, OR completion of a Federal state, county, or local law enforcement training academy with a verifiable certificate or transcript.

Valid California State Guard card

Exposed Firearm Permit

CPR/First Aid certification

Baton certification

Demonstrate ability to read, write and converse clearly in English.

Satisfactory completion of initial drug test and criminal background check
