Job description

Business Development Advisor – Healthcare Sales (Hamblen, Jefferson & Sevier Counties, TN)

About the Role
We’re hiring a relationship-driven Business Development Advisor to grow referrals across Hamblen, Jefferson, and Sevier Counties. This is a field-based sales role—you’ll spend your time building relationships with hospitals, physicians, senior living communities, and other healthcare partners.

You generate the referrals. Our care team handles the care delivery.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and manage referral relationships with healthcare providers and community partners
  • Maintain a consistent weekly outreach cadence across your territory
  • Qualify referred prospects and schedule care consultations
  • Track activity and outcomes in Salesforce
  • Schedule and manage follow-ups to drive ongoing referral growth
  • Represent Home Instead at community events and professional meetings

What We’re Looking For
  • Existing relationships with healthcare or senior care referral sources in Hamblen, Jefferson, or Sevier County (required)
  • 3+ years in outside sales, business development, or referral marketing
  • Proven track record of hitting performance goals
  • Self-starter who can manage a multi-county territory
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
