Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves the detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. The ideal candidate will propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs, write and deploy code, and prepare the required technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions
  • Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
  • Write, test, and deploy software
  • Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software
  • Maintain and debug software applications
  • Contribute to the design of process improvements

Requirements:

  • 6 to 8 years of professional experience
  • Significant experience with both REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Proficiency with Angular, Java, and JavaScript
  • Experience with Security, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Framework
  • Experience in application development and release management
  • Understanding of User Experience (UX) design principles

Pay range: $56.68 - $64.68 per hour
