**This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in the office at our Chicago location**
The Senior Manager, HRBP, is a strategic HR leader responsible for driving the success of global talent programs and leading HRBP delivery across the Americas. This role balances enterprise-level influence with direct people leadership, overseeing HR team members. The Senior Manager, HRBP partners with senior business leaders to deliver high-impact HR initiatives, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure seamless execution of HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
The position requires an ability to lean into our Syndigo Values, specifically "Always Accelerate" and "Get It Done". Successful candidates will be quick learners, undaunted by lofty goals, with an ability to build relationships across the business.
HOW WE'LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
  • People Leadership / Mentorship: Mentor and support HR team members, fostering professional growth and high performance. Provide career guidance, skill development, and feedback to direct reports.
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Partner with senior and executive leaders to implement programs, provide guidance on talent, workforce planning, organizational change, and drive alignment people priorities and HR strategies.
  • Employee Relations Oversight: Provide guidance on complex employee relations cases; escalate or consult as needed. Provide leadership oversight for complex employee relations matters within the Americas, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and in alignment with company values.
  • Organizational Impact: Contribute to HR strategy development and high-impact enterprise initiatives, including organizational design, talent planning, and workforce optimization.
  • Global Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of one or more global talent programs (Performance Management, Leadership Development, Learning & Development, Engagement), including strategy, execution, communication, and outcomes. Supports other talent programs within their functions and regions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR Centers of Expertise (HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards) to ensure seamless delivery of programs and HR services.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Monitor program effectiveness, track key metrics, and report outcomes to senior HR leadership.
  • Strategic Influence: May take on additional high-level HR initiatives with significant impact to the business.
  • Directly manages the Brazil HR team (HR Manager and HR Assistant) and an Associate HRBP in Chicago.
    • Mentors and supports the team with program delivery and HRBP execution, providing career guidance, skill development, and feedback.

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU
  • 6+ years of HR experience, including HRBP experience and leadership of complex HR programs or initiatives.
  • 2+ years at a high-tech or SaaS company.
  • 1 -2 years of directly leading HR team members.
  • Deep expertise in talent management, performance programs, employee relations, HR strategy, and global program delivery.
  • Proven ability to mentor HRBPs and influence executive leaders across functions and regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with operational execution; manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and program management skills.
  • Builds positive relationships and collaborates well with colleagues at all levels.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to quickly learn and leverage HR systems and common business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, performance management platforms).
  • Flexible to changing business needs and adjusts to changing priorities with ease.
  • Familiarity with HR principles, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Shows initiative to develop professionally and expand HR expertise.

Your individual compensation within the budgeted salary range is determined based on your skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This position is Bonus Eligible.

Budgeted Salary Range is:
$115,000-$130,000 USD
