Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager III for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA, or Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This position involves project coordination responsibilities relating to technology implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate resources across various lines of business, balance soft skills with technical requirements, and ensure the timely delivery of technical solutions while managing stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate technology implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery projects
- Manage and coordinate resources within and across various lines of business
- Balance soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, and milestone delivery
- Define, evaluate, and plan effective solutions for problems
- Identify and mitigate potential issues to keep projects on schedule
- Succinctly present progress and issues to management and stakeholders
- Set and continually manage project expectations
- Identify changing priorities and effectively re-allocate resources
- Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner
- Maintain system of records related to inventory detail updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong mix of technology delivery, governance/change management/project delivery
- Basic understanding of Telecom deliverables, i.e., Avaya, Cisco and Ribbon voice technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation engagement skills including presenting to senior leaders
- Adaptive learning capability to utilize new systems and/or processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams)
- Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends, based on project schedules
Desired skills:
- BMC Remedy Tools (Change Management)
- ServiceNow experience
- Network Knowledge (IP Management/DHCP Address)
Pay range: $52.10 - $60.10 per hour
