Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Technician for a contract position with a Major Energy Company located in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for monitoring information technology systems, managing incidents, and addressing service requests. The ideal candidate will manage IT assets, triage end-user technology issues, and support the complete lifecycle of hardware assets using tools like ServiceNow and Power BI. Responsibilities: Monitor multiple information technology systems and perform incident management and/or address service requests Manage IT assets per defined processes Utilize ServiceNow and Power BI reports to monitor IT asset health and identify lost or missing assets Monitor and maintain physical inventory in stock rooms and warehouses Prepare and track shipments to remote sites Assist with asset issues that escalate beyond the status of an incident Schedule and coordinate warranty work for desktops and laptops Prepare out-of-date equipment for recycling and support the end-user technology asset lifecycle Receive incoming IT equipment from vendors and prepare for deployment Perform basic application and infrastructure monitoring functions Create, route, and resolve ServiceNow incident tickets Triage and diagnose end-user technology issues Assist on facilities projects that require infrastructure technology and support other IT teams with field projects Perform imaging tasks for new and/or restored desktops and laptops Requirements: 1-3 years of relevant experience Working knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and communications Experience with desktop/laptop hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Office suite Understanding of IP networking, event monitoring, logging, and data collection techniques Knowledge of virtualization technologies and Windows desktop operating systems Familiarity with Windows servers, Linux operating systems, and CISCO switching/routing Experience with incident handling, escalation, and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow Demonstrated ability working with data reporting tools such as Excel Ability to identify, research, and analyze system hardware problems and perform system evaluations Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with client calls and respond to IT requests Demonstrated ability to interact, guide, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders Must have an applicable driver's license Pay range: $19.40 - $25.00 per hour, depending on years of experience and overall fit for the position.
