    Job description

    Genesis10 is currently seeking a Hardware Procurement Specialist - Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Hardware Procurement Specialist to support the procurement, inventory coordination, and fulfillment of personal computing hardware and peripherals. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including purchase order processing, supplier coordination, order tracking, demand forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large hardware orders in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and support implementation activities related to personal computing hardware, peripherals, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and storage allocations
    • Work directly with Product Managers, internal teams, and suppliers to process hardware PC orders and ensure timely fulfillment
    • Evaluate, generate, and manage purchase orders for hardware requests on a daily basis
    • Process orders for large projects and enterprise initiatives, ensuring hardware is shipped on schedule and requesters receive timely tracking updates
    • Monitor order status, shipment progress, supplier delays, and fulfillment risks; escalate issues as needed
    • Partner with internal teams to manage demand forecast levels and ensure future hardware needs are accurately reflected
    • Maintain acceptable inventory levels and support accuracy within the order-processing function when hardware is procured and in stock
    • Engage routinely with suppliers to understand supply chain constraints, resolve issues, and support continuity of hardware availability
    • Plan, manage, and track hardware orders to help maintain customer fill rates throughout events, initiatives, and project deployments
    • Gather data, analyze trends, and develop reports and dashboards to support procurement visibility and operational decision-making
    • Develop, maintain, and update process documentation to promote consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency
    • Manage administrative processes in a timely manner to support procurement-related activities

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of applicable experience in hardware procurement, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or a related business function
    • Experience purchasing, tracking, and coordinating shipment of personal computing hardware and peripherals
    • Strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle, including purchase order creation, supplier engagement, order tracking, and issue resolution
    • Ability to place and manage large hardware orders while prioritizing multiple tasks

    Pay range: $42.09 - $50.09 per hour
