Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and data solutions. This role combines expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Python-based services and APIs, and React-based user interfaces to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions. This individual will also serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, identifying opportunities, defining requirements, analyzing business processes, and helping shape the roadmap for future enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React
• Build scalable and secure REST APIs, microservices, and backend services
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, schemas, stored procedures, views, and queries
• Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and solution requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and database design
• Strong proficiency in Python development
• Experience developing modern web applications using React
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• 3-7 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, product management, or similar roles
• Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis skills
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration patterns
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent source control platforms
• Exposure to AI/ML solutions and modern data platforms

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
