Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java/J2EE Developer Lead for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is for a seasoned Java/J2EE Developer Lead to join an enterprise application team. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, and develop applications using an Agile methodology, focusing on integration flows with MuleSoft, web services development, and NoSQL databases. Due to business need, this role requires a specific start date.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and develop enterprise applications with Agile development methodology
  • Identify, analyze and develop Integration flows using Mule Connectors, Design Center and API Management
  • Assist in web services development with associated skills using SOAP, REST and HTTP in a high volume environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive industry experience in Java/J2EE development
  • Experience with Core Java
  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL Databases
  • Working knowledge of GIT Hub or a similar environment
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

Desired skills:

  • Experience with RedHat OpenShift
  • Experience integrating into the MuleSoft platform, setting up CI/CD routines, and configuring MuleSoft runtimes
  • Experience participating in code reviews and daily SCRUM meetings
  • Ability to work closely with product partners to on-board new functional requirements

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
