Information Technology - Software Engineer | Fort Worth, Texas, United States [About the Role] Join our dynamic Information Technology team in Fort Worth, TX as a Software Engineer specializing in System Build Infrastructure. You will play a crucial part in automating software build processes and supporting development teams across multiple high-impact programs. This hands-on role offers exposure to the latest in CI/CD automation, collaborative agile workflows, and the opportunity to drive technical improvements with a team of passionate engineers. [Responsibilities] - Design, develop, and maintain automation utilities and infrastructure for system builds. - Support and enhance CI/CD build pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and optimize workflow efficiency. - Collaborate with software development teams to integrate, support, and debug software deliveries. - Create and maintain configuration and automation frameworks to streamline software integration. - Attend daily scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demos, actively resolving team impediments. - Contribute to the modernization of legacy scripts, converting them into maintainable Python code. [Required Skills and Experience] - Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of professional programming experience in Python. - 3+ years working with the Linux/Unix command line. - At least 5 years utilizing software configuration management tools such as Git, Artifactory, Nexus.
