    Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer, Workforce Management Technology (UKG Pro WFM) to support, enhance, modernize, and optimize the company's global Workforce Management technology ecosystem. This role serves as a technical lead and subject matter expert for UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions) and associated Workforce Management capabilities including labor forecasting, scheduling optimization, timekeeping, attendance, absence management, workforce analytics, and labor compliance.
    The position will be responsible for the design, configuration, development, testing, integration, implementation, and support of global Workforce Management solutions supporting corporate, distribution center, and retail operations. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in UKG Pro WFM, retail labor management processes, workforce compliance requirements, and enterprise integrations across HR, Payroll, Identity Management, and Retail technologies.
    This role partners closely with HR Technology, Payroll, Store Operations, Global Workforce Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Product teams to deliver scalable and innovative workforce solutions that improve teammate experience, labor productivity, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
    Responsibilities
    UKG Pro WFM Solution Ownership
    • Serve as a primary technical expert and solution lead for UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions).
    • Configure and support UKG modules including:
    • Timekeeping
    • Advanced Scheduling
    • Labor Forecasting
    • Attestation
    • Accruals and Absence Management
    • Workforce Analytics
    • Employee Self-Service
    • Manager Self-Service
    • Labor Compliance
    • Design and implement workforce rules, pay rules, work rules, accrual policies, scheduling policies, and workforce administration processes.
    • Support global rollout activities and continuous enhancement initiatives across multiple countries and business units.
    • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, and workforce optimization.

    Workforce Management Application Delivery
    • Lead solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and production stabilization activities.
    • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
    • Participate in roadmap planning and strategic Workforce Management transformation initiatives.
    • Evaluate new UKG functionality and recommend adoption strategies to improve business capabilities.

    UKG Configuration & Engineering
    • Configure UKG Pro WFM components and maintain workforce rules, schedules, labor standards, and reporting structures.
    • Design and develop integrations leveraging:
    • UKG Boomi
    • REST APIs
    • File-based interfaces
    • Middleware platforms
    • Event-driven integrations
    • Support custom workforce management extensions and automation solutions.
    • Develop technical specifications and maintain configuration documentation.

    Labor Forecasting & Optimization
    • Support workforce demand planning and labor forecasting capabilities.
    • Configure forecasting and scheduling models that align labor budgets with operational demands.
    • Partner with operations teams to improve workforce productivity and labor utilization.
    • Support workforce analytics and reporting initiatives that provide visibility into labor performance metrics.

    Production Support & Operational Excellence
    • Lead resolution of complex production issues across UKG Pro WFM environments.
    • Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
    • Support platform upgrades, releases, service packs, feature enablement, and regression testing.
    • Drive application stability, performance optimization, and support process improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain adherence to SLAs, operational governance standards, and support metrics.

    Integration & Enterprise Systems
    • Design and support integrations between UKG Pro WFM and:
    • HR Technology platforms
    • Payroll systems
    • Identity & Access Management solutions
    • Retail Store Systems
    • ERP platforms
    • Reporting and Analytics platforms
    • Ensure data integrity across all workforce-related systems.
    • Support enterprise data governance and compliance initiatives.

    Collaboration & Leadership
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across Workforce Management initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, and business stakeholders.
    • Lead technical design reviews and solution evaluations.
    • Support vendor management and partnership activities related to UKG solutions.
    • Champion best practices in Workforce Management technology and software engineering.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Minimum 5+ years supporting enterprise Workforce Management platforms.
    • Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions).
    • Deep knowledge of:
    • Time & Attendance

    • Workforce Analytics
    • Absence Management
    • Labor Compliance
    • Experience configuring workforce business rules, pay rules, accruals, and scheduling policies.

    • Experience supporting cloud SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.
    • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
    • Experience working within Agile product delivery methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • UKG Pro WFM Implementation or Advanced Configuration experience.
    • UKG Workforce Central migration experience.
    • UKG Pro WFM certification(s).
    • Experience supporting large-scale global retail organizations.
    • Experience with labor standards, workforce optimization, and forecast modeling.
    • Experience integrating UKG with:
    • Workday
    • SAP
    • Oracle Cloud
    • PeopleSoft
    • Payroll platforms
    • Experience with Boomi integration development.
    • Knowledge of workforce compliance requirements across North America, EMEA and APAC.

    Benefits
    The annual base salary range is $120,000 - $130,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
