  • Act as the technical escalation point and ensure resolution of complex architectural and delivery challenges
  • Define and own enterprise and solution architecture for core banking transformation, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems
  • Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient architectures, including integration, data, and application layers
  • Establish architecture governance, standards, and best practices across engagements
  • Evaluate and select technologies, platforms, and vendors (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, Thought Machine) based on client needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on technology transformation and architecture decisions
  • Translate business needs into technical roadmaps and target state architectures
  • Lead architecture workshops, design sessions, and executive presentations
Business Development & Practice Growth
  • Support and lead solutioning, proposals, and technical pursuits, contributing to EY’s go‑to‑market strategy
  • Identify and develop new offerings in banking technology, cloud, and data transformation
  • Contribute to thought leadership and innovation within the Banking Technology practice
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing technical teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in core banking architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration
  • Lead confidently in complex, ambiguous environments, balancing strategic and technical priorities
  • Exhibit strong executive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Bring a hands‑on architecture mindset while operating at a strategic level
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across solutions and delivery models
Ideally, You’ll Also Have

    • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar)
    • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments, including architecture delivery within iterative models
    • Exposure to engagement commercials, estimation, and deal structuring
What We Look For
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8–12+ years of experience in technology consulting or architecture roles, with a strong focus on banking or financial services
  • Proven track record of leading large‑scale transformation programs and architecture design
  • Experience working with complex ecosystems and vendor landscapes
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, including vendors and offshore teams, in fast‑paced environments
  • Willingness to work on‑site with clients (e.g., GTA 2–3 days/week) and travel as required
