    Job description

    Overview
    As a Sr. Project Manager within Business Management, you will be part of a team dedicated to bringing ArcGIS products to market. You'll manage complex, cross-divisional projects and initiatives requiring efforts focused on the operational implementation of license management, pricing, business rules, workflows, and best practices necessary to license, deliver, and support the ArcGIS portfolio of products across Esri sale channels. In this position, you will drive operational readiness efforts, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and contribute to improving project management practices.
    Responsibilities
    • Own end-to-end delivery of complex cross-divisional projects, ensuring alignment with product and program release timelines and business objectives
    • Lead and execute project planning discussions to define scope, objectives, success criteria, risks, and interdependencies in partnership with stakeholders
    • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and decision-making discussions, influencing outcomes and driving alignment across teams
    • Proactively identify and resolve project issues, applying sound judgment to balance competing priorities and constraints
    • Maintain accountability for project output, quality, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful operational readiness and product release execution
    • Optimize existing project management workflows and processes to improve efficiency, clarity, and cross-team coordination
    • Support change management efforts by clearly communicating updates, setting expectations, and reinforcing adoption across impacted teams
    • Provide post-release feedback, identify successes and areas for improvement, collaborating with stakeholders for refinement

    Requirements
    • 5+ years of experience as a project manager supporting software product releases
    • Working proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Airtable
    • Technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle
    • Demonstrated experience owning and delivering complex cross-functional initiatives from initiation through release
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
    • Decisiveness in identifying priorities and resolving issues
    • Strong interpersonal skills including clear communication, diplomacy, and ability to facilitate and influence in a cross-functional environment
    • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field

    Recommended Qualifications
    • Certification in project management (such as PMP, ScrumMaster)
    • Knowledge of GIS technology

    $82,160-$138,320 USD
