Job description

Overview

As a GIS Industry Solutions Manager for Geospatial Authorities at Esri, you are a recognized industry thought leader who understands how GIS technology enables better decisions, more effective workflows, and delivers transformational outcomes for government through a modern spatial data infrastructure (SDI). You want to see this success replicated in government agencies around the world as they build their own National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) and modernize the way they collect, produce, and manage spatial data.

In this role you will shape industry messaging and the go-to-market (GTM) strategy across global markets for national mapping and charting, official statistics, and land administration agencies. Your objective is to drive awareness and demand in these markets by positioning Esri GIS technology as uniquely suited to address existing and emerging industry challenges and opportunities. You will collaborate closely with teams in business development, corporate marketing, professional services, solutions, and software development to align industry trends with Esri technology for current and future demand.

At Esri, we are committed to our customers and their success. It is a place for you to do your best work and partner with our customers amid a supportive culture that encourages creativity, collaboration, and passion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the industry thought leader and public face of Esri, representing the company at conferences, tradeshows, seminars, webinars, and user group meetings

  • Research, analyze, and monitor industry, technology, and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic positioning of ArcGIS and Esri solutions
  • Develop and support industry messaging and gotomarket strategies that clearly articulate the value of Esri technology in addressing industryspecific challenges
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing, sales, product development, professional services, partners, and international distributors to align strategy, campaigns, and execution
  • Engage with customers, partners, and industry influencers to promote customer success stories, strengthen relationships, and grow the global user community
  • Provide industry insight and competitive intelligence to internal teams to inform product direction, sales strategy, and executivelevel messaging
  • Maintain and deepen GIS and industry domain expertise, supporting internal requests, partner engagements, analyst briefings, and customer meetings with authoritative knowledge

Requirements
