Job description

Job Summary:
Dycom Industries, Inc is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Engineer with deep SAP S/4HANA development expertise to support their financial applications and integrations. The role involves developing and optimizing ABAP programs, implementing extensibility strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize ABAP programs and CDS Views to support financial and operational processes
• Implement In-App and Side-by-Side extensibility aligned with SAP’s Clean Core strategy
• Build microservices and extensions on SAP BTP using Cloud Foundry
• Design and enhance SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, including custom UI components
• Architect integrations using SAP Integration Suite/CPI to connect S/4HANA with third-party APIs and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Build and manage complex business rules using BRF+ to reduce hard-coded logic
• Develop and consume OData v2/v4 services for modern application and integration needs
• Use SAP Cloud ALM for project governance, automated testing, and monitoring
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5–10 years of experience in financial systems or enterprise systems engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or Accounting
• Expert-level proficiency in ABAP development
• Strong experience with CDS Views
• Proven experience implementing Clean Core extensibility (In-App vs. Side-by-Side)
• Hands-on development experience with SAP BTP and Cloud Foundry
• Deep knowledge of SAP Fiori, Fiori Elements, and SAPUI5
• Expertise with SAP Integration Suite / CPI for secure, scalable integrations
• Strong experience designing rule-based logic using BRF+
• Mastery of OData v2/v4 service development and consumption
• Proficiency with SAP Cloud ALM for testing, governance, and monitoring
Preferred:
• Experience with SAP Build (Apps, Process Automation, Work Zone)
• Experience with gCTS, ABAP Unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience integrating SAP Taulia
• Familiarity with Vertex O Series tax engine integration
• Hands-on experience with SAP Joule for AI-assisted development and testing
