As a Sr. Event Marketing Manager at Databricks, you will own operations, strategy, and execution for Data + AI World Tour, driving seamless delivery of our flagship event program across the globe. This role transforms event operations from reactive to strategic, building scalable systems that enable best-in-class experiences while maintaining operational excellence across multiple global markets.

Outcomes: the impact you will have: Scalable Operations : Establish repeatable systems and processes that enable Data + AI World Tour to scale across new markets without operational complexity Operational Excellence: Deliver flawless event execution with on-time, on-budget delivery across all milestones and deliverables Data Visibility: Provide clear performance reporting that connects event metrics to business outcomes and informs future strategy Cross-Functional Alignment: Create seamless collaboration between global teams, agencies, and stakeholders that eliminates bottlenecks and accelerates execution Budget Efficiency: Maintain financial accountability with zero budget overruns and optimized vendor relationships Field Enablement: Equip regional teams with standardized tools and resources that ensure consistent event quality across all locations Stakeholder Trust: Build confidence with marketing and sales leadership through reliable delivery and transparent communication What we look for: 8+ years of event marketing experience, driving demand to event programs in a B2B enterprise software company Strong project management skills with track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects on deadline Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder global programs Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to lead cross-functional meetings Proven capacity for exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed Metrics-driven and be a strong analytical thinker with ability to utilize data to drive the success and the evolution of the conference. Experience with Google Suite, Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau, Asana, Rainfocus, etc.
