Lean/CI Sr. Director
Lead Celestica's global logistics and warehouse functions from Richardson, TX. This role involves transforming operations, driving efficiency, and fostering innovation. Responsibilities include developing long-term plans, setting objectives, and formulating policies. You will architect global strategic initiatives, addressing complex challenges with a visionary mindset to deploy cutting-edge strategies. Collaborate with senior managers on strategic plans, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring the success of Celestica Richardson's logistics and warehouse operations. As a dynamic team leader, you will direct department managers, setting objectives, evaluating performance, and driving continuous improvement through Lean and Automation. Interact with executives and key customers, engaging in negotiations and influencing senior-level managers. This role represents the organization on a broader stage, shaping the future of logistics and warehouse operations with strategic insight and operational expertise.
Logistics Management
- Transportation Strategy Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for sea, air, land, and courier services. Optimize transportation lanes and implement milk-runs between 3PLs and factories.
- Cost-effective Logistics Management: Monitor and manage logistics rates to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize resource utilization. Implement cost management measures, evaluate processes, and establish KPIs.
