About this Role
Carrier Corporation is seeking a proactive and experienced Training Manager to lead the development of technical and professional training programs across our Light Commercial business. This role is critical in ensuring our channel partners are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to support our products, services, and customer experience standards.
The Training Manager - Light Commercial Solutions is responsible for leading the strategy and guiding teams in the development of training content and programs for Light Commercial solutions to a multi- faceted customer base. This role will work closely with product managers and application engineers as well as the Residential and Commercial training teams and third part partners to develop and provide best in class training support to our channel partners.
Success will require the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams as well as 3rd party vendors and the ability to turn technical and sometimes complex HVAC information into engaging, easy to understand content. A customer focused mindset that is continuously learning, seeking feedback and channel input is essential for success
This highly visible role will also require strong communication skills and the ability to tailor the message as appropriate for the target audience.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Program Development
  • Design and implement training programs for external customers including contractors and disrtibutors.
  • Develop curriculum for Light Commercial HVAC systems, controls and installation and service best practices.
  • Align training initiatives with business goals, product launches, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the product managers, application engineers, service managers and other key stakeholders as well as SME's to ensure integrity of content and timely delivery of training courses.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential and commercial training teams to develop best in class training courses, experience and learning platforms.
  • Lead training component of the Carrier Commercial Experts program, including evaluating processes, materials, third party trainers and supporting programs to ensure

Delivery & Facilitation
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Work collaboratively with My Learning Center and Carrier University to ensure LCML courses are available and easy to find for distributors and contractors.
  • Ensure training materials are current, engaging, and technically accurate.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Service, Sales and Marketing to ensure training supports product positioning and technical accuracy.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously improve programs based on learner feedback and evolving business needs.

Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, product management and/or training

Preferred qualifications
  • Product marketing, product management, or training experience in HVAC, building systems or related field.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional design skills.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and digital training platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for training delivery and partner engagement.
  • Experience with HVAC products and systems.
  • Certification in instructional design or technical training (e.g., CPTD, HVAC Excellence).
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors including contract and SOW reviews and approvals

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
