The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) cloud services team is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Services Specialist to join our team.
As a Cloud Services Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to ensure the optimal performance, security, and availability of our cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing.
Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Effective July 1, 2025, The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). - Proven experience as an IT Administrator in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep.
- Excellent knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
