Workday Reporting & Prism Analytics Consultant

Location: Philadelphia, PA – Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting & Prism Analytics Consultant to design, build, test, maintain, and enhance Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions. The consultant will lead report lifecycle activities, collaborate with business stakeholders, support UAT and sign-off processes, and provide ongoing enhancement and defect support.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, Calculated Fields, and data visualization, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

Required Skills
  • 4+ years of Workday Reporting experience.
  • 2+ years of Workday Prism Analytics experience.
  • Strong experience with Workday HCM and related functional domains.
  • Expertise in designing, building, testing, debugging, and supporting Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced experience developing:
    • Advanced Reports
    • Composite Reports
    • Matrix Reports
    • Trend Reports
  • Experience creating and maintaining Prism data sources, datasets, pipelines, and transformations.
  • Ability to blend Workday and external data sources for workforce analytics and business reporting.
  • Expert knowledge of creating and modifying complex Calculated Fields.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, and reporting best practices.
  • Experience gathering requirements and creating functional and design documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Lead report lifecycle activities from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain Workday Prism Analytics solutions, including datasets, pipelines, data sources, and transformations.
  • Blend Workday and external data sources to support workforce analytics and business reporting.
  • Develop and maintain complex Calculated Fields.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
  • Support unit testing, UAT, data validation, and business sign-off activities.
  • Troubleshoot reporting and analytics defects and provide ongoing production support.
  • Assess the impact of Workday releases and maintain regression testing documentation.
  • Create and maintain reporting, configuration, and functional documentation.
  • Support Workday reporting and analytics enhancement initiatives.
  • Ensure reporting solutions follow Workday security and governance standards.
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Prism Analytics Certification strongly preferred.
  • Workday Reporting, HCM, or Integration certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Workday Business Processes and HCM functional touchpoints.
  • Experience supporting HR Operations and workforce reporting initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage change while considering business process and system impacts.
