Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours
Per Diem: $150/Day (One Travel Day Per Diem + Per Diem for Each Day Worked)
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: 1200 - 2200 | M-F | 50hrs/week
Why This Opportunity?Join a contractor supporting preliminary electrical conduit installation at an active logistics facility in Dothan, AL. This short-term assignment offers the opportunity to oversee safety during early-phase electrical construction activities while ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, electrical safety requirements, and site-specific work practices within an operational facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safety professional with electrical construction knowledge who is available for an immediate short-duration assignment.
Required QualificationsOne of the following is required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety (or related field) with 3+ years of construction safety experience
- CSP or CHST Certification with 5+ years of construction safety experience
- OSHA 500/510 Certification with 7+ years of construction safety experience
Experience supporting electrical construction projects
Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Electrical safety experience
Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and contractor safety management
Preferred Qualifications- Operational facility construction experience
- Distribution center or logistics facility experience
- NFPA 70E knowledge or certification
- Experience supporting energized work planning
- Amazon project experience
- Oversee daily safety activities for electrical conduit installation
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
- Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices
- Support preliminary electrical construction and conduit installation activities
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
