Adapt is hiring an Account Executive to serve the Amazon Ads Large Customer Sales (LCS) organization. This position can be remote in the US. Adapt operates as a talent flywheel within Amazon Ads, deploying experienced Account Executives across the LCS organization to maintain coverage continuity and elevate performance during periods of transition.

Adapt team members report to the Head of the US Adapt AE team and collaborate closely with their coverage Sales Managers, operations partners, and Adapt peers deployed across the US. Every Adapt assignment is an opportunity to deliver measurable impact for customers, learn rapidly, and strengthen the resilience of the Amazon Ads organization.
As an Account Executive on the Adapt team, you will be a significant and autonomous contributor responsible for managing customer initiatives and relationships across a rotating portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts.

From day one of each new assignment, you will use your advertising expertise, business acumen, and high judgment to earn trust with customers, agencies, and internal stakeholders - quickly and credibly.
This role demands a practitioner who is actively developing their strategic instincts. You will work independently on most initiatives, seek direction and/or use high judgment when navigating complex situations, and bring a structured, data-driven approach to every customer relationship.

You will also embrace AI tools as force multipliers - using them to accelerate ramp time, increase the quality of customer interactions, and share learnings that improve how the broader Adapt team operates.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position. Part-time (30 hours/week) candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Key job responsibilities
Business Performance:
- Own high-quality coverage transitions across assigned books of business, including structured onboarding, account immersion, and delivery of coverage artifacts upon transition.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across Display, Video, Sponsored Display, and other Amazon Ads solutions.
- Drive YoY account growth by deepening customer partnerships, expanding durable advertiser investment, and identifying incremental revenue opportunities across lines of business.

These include annual agreements.
- Maintain a consistent cadence of customer meetings, ensuring customer short and long-term expectations are met with proactive outreach and structured follow-through.
- Engage at the VP and above level within advertiser and agency organizations to act as a strategic partner, unlock incremental opportunity, and accelerate deal cycles.
Customer Strategy & Advertiser Experience
- Use strong knowledge of Amazon Ads solutions, capabilities, and guidelines to educate and influence customers with productive conversations that drive revenue and support their long-term goals

- Understand your customers' competitive landscape and Amazon's competitive position. Translate this knowledge into relevant insights and guidance for multiple advertiser and agency contacts.
- Identify and capture customer feedback through team mechanisms.

Escalate product gaps and solution opportunities appropriately.
Operational Discipline
- Maintain strong Salesforce hygiene: log engagements and opportunities on time, keep pipeline clean and free of past-due items, and deliver accurate business visibility to your manager and sales leadership.
- Leverage AI tools and agents to accelerate account ramp, improve customer interaction quality, and scale your productivity.

Contribute to team-wide AI best practices by sharing agents and use cases that benefit peers.
Organizational Impact
- Contribute to cadenced reporting and narratives in the Amazonian style of written communication. Participate in team-wide initiatives via SMEships and workstreams.
- Cross-pollinate learnings from each account assignment to improve Adapt's collective playbook

Share best practices, surface patterns, and help develop frameworks that scale across the organization.
Voice of Customer & Leadership
- Earn Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback that reflects trust, strong relationship management, and strategic partnership - not transactional vendor engagement.
- Expand your impact from the campaign and media level toward the broader business level, ensuring customers view you as a strategic partner invested in their success.

About the team
Adapt deploys highly skilled, hyper-agile talent to ensure that advertisers can continue to invest in their partnerships with Amazon Ads uninterrupted during coverage gaps created by extended leave of absence (parental, medical) or other business continuity needs. We do not simply backfill - we use every coverage assignment as an opportunity to implement best practices, identify scalable solutions, and strengthen the broader Amazon Ads organization. The standard of customer service, strategic partnership, and revenue attainment must be maintained, and often elevated, during every engagement.
