About the Role
The Twitch legal team is looking for an experienced person for the role of Contracts Manager. You will provide support for commercial and IP agreements, content partnerships, Twitch esports productions, and various marketing activations. This role is an excellent opportunity to join Twitch's close-knit legal team, build relationships with counterparts at Amazon legal, and have fun tackling the complex issues of our user community.
You can work from San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA.
You Will:
  • Draft and negotiate agreements for software, SAAS, advertising, production, talent, content, marketing and other commercial transactions.
  • Counsel our teams on many legal and business issues, including rights and clearances.
  • Coordinate with diverse partners, including esports, procurement, business development, partnerships, marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to improve processes and ensure business demands are satisfied.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent;
  • 3 to 6 years of experience navigating commercial transactions, preferably in the digital space
  • Experience drafting and closing commercial agreements and improving contracting processes.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing successfully to cross-functional teams.
  • Sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Prior experience on a legal team at a media, internet, or technology company
  • Knowledge of Twitch, including esports / gaming, UGC services, and digital media business trends
