Job description

  • Experience working in large, multi-cloud environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • AWS engineering and tier 3 operational support experience.
  • Experienced in providing technical solutions to the applications hosted in the AWS cloud environment.
  • Prior Migration Experience to the AWS environment is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems using native AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC Flowlogs, and Server Access logs.
  • DevOps/coding skills in at least one of: Python 3.x, CloudFormation, Terraform, or GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to core IaaS (IAM, VPC, EC2, EBS, ELB) and native AWS PaaS Services (S3, Lambda, EMR, SageMaker, Athena, Glue, EKS)
  • AWS networking experience (Direct Connect, Cloudwan, Transit Gateway, Gateway Load Balancer, etc.)
  • Commitment to best practices and striving for the elimination of manual operational processes to promote a DevOps oriented software delivery model.
  • An AWS Certification, however strong experience with a desire to complete certification will also be considered.
  • Experience with REST APIs to support integration of infrastructure, cloud, and platform as a service technology.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration, Kubernetes, and Docker, including lifecycle management of containers.
  • Knowledge of web security, and networking protocols and Experience with web-based applications and/or web services-based applications.
  • Prior experience with implementing enterprise cloud management platforms.
  • Act as a Technical consultant and subject matter expert for Project Managers, Developers, and Engineering teams, to resolve technical obstacles and contribute to improvement
