Job description

Team Lead - Visual MerchandisingPurpose & Impact on Organization

Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales and profit targets by ensuring the highest level of Visual Merchandising execution, brand presentation, and consumer experience within the store.

Support the Store Management Team by driving consistent implementation of adidas Visual Merchandising standards, seasonal directives, commercial priorities, and product presentation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute all Visual Merchandising standards across the sales floor, windows, mannequins, campaign zones, and key product areas.

  • Ensure the store is presented according to adidas brand standards, seasonal direction, and commercial priorities.

  • Support the planning and execution of floor sets, product launches, promotional changes, and weekly visual updates.

  • Maintain strong product presentation through effective replenishment, size availability, and fixture organization.

  • Partner with the Store Manager and leadership team to identify sales opportunities through visual presentation and product placement.

  • Coach and guide store team members on Visual Merchandising standards, product stories, styling, and daily maintenance expectations.

  • Review mannequins, feature areas, footwear walls, apparel sections, and accessories daily to ensure premium execution.

  • Use business trends, sell-through, traffic, and consumer behaviour to support merchandising decisions.

  • Maintain backroom organization related to VM tools, fixtures, bust forms, mannequins, and seasonal materials.

  • Lead by example on the sales floor by delivering excellent consumer service and supporting store operations when needed.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong visual merchandising skills with a good eye for detail, styling, balance, and commercial presentation.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Strong communication and coaching skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with Store Management and cross-functional partners.

  • Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

  • Passion for sport, fashion, retail, and the adidas brand.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.

Qualifications
  • Previous retail experience required.

  • Previous Visual Merchandising experience preferred.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to lift, move fixtures/product, and use ladders safely when required.

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours per week or based on business needs.
