POSITION OVERVIEW

Through authentic partnerships and culturally relevant storytelling, we create experiences that strengthen the adidas brand at the intersection of sport, music, fashion, and culture.
As Senior Manager, Culture Marketing (LTD), you will shape how adidas connects with target consumers through celebrities, creators, influencers, media, and entertainment. With a particular emphasis on Hip Hop and music culture, you will identify strategic partners, cultivate industry relationships, and develop integrations that build brand relevance and create commercial opportunities.
This role partners closely with global, regional, and local teams as well as external agencies and entertainment industry partners. You will contribute to global brand campaigns, lead key Culture Marketing initiatives, and help ensure adidas maintains authentic and relevant visibility across entertainment and culture.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a Limited Duration position. Employment is intended for a defined period based on business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Culture Marketing Strategy: Contribute to global brand campaigns by identifying celebrity, creator, and influencer partners who align with adidas brand priorities, target consumers, and cultural objectives, with a particular emphasis on Hip Hop and music.
Talent Partnerships: Manage relationships with celebrity and influencer partners throughout engagement and negotiation while ensuring partnerships support brand and business objectives.
Entertainment Integration: Develop and manage Hip Hop and entertainment integrations that connect product placement and cultural partnerships to priority brand initiatives and commercial opportunities across adidas retail and wholesale partners.
Industry Relationships: Build and maintain relationships across the entertainment and influencer landscape, including artists, stylists, editors, producers, directors, costumers, industry VIPs, and other cultural partners.
Brand Visibility: Strengthen adidas brand recognition and cultural relevance through strategic product placement, entertainment integrations, industry events, consumer experiences, and other high-impact cultural platforms.
Campaign and Agency Management: Support the Global Director in managing external agencies and coordinating global, regional, and local entertainment and influencer marketing initiatives.
Category Marketing: Oversee category-specific Brand Marketing objectives related to entertainment and influencer marketing, ensuring initiatives align with broader brand priorities.
Product Management: Oversee product forecasting, ordering, inventory, and seasonal needs for Culture Marketing while maintaining current product knowledge and clear target consumer objectives.
Events and Experiences: Contribute to adidas brand and Culture Marketing events through concept development, planning, visual merchandising, collateral development, staffing, talent outreach, execution, and post-event wrap-up.
Project Management: Lead assigned projects and events in partnership with the Director, managing timelines, stakeholders, deliverables, and executional requirements.
Team Leadership: Serve as a department lead when needed and support the training, mentoring, and development of team members across operational processes, department protocols, and entertainment industry practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of public relations, culture marketing, entertainment marketing, influencer marketing, or related experience, preferably within a consumer-focused organization.
Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of Hip Hop, music, entertainment, and contemporary culture.
Established relationships within the music, fashion, entertainment, influencer, or lifestyle media industries.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong networking, relationship management, and communication capabilities.
Strong writing and editing skills with experience developing strategic communications, marketing plans, releases, media alerts, or related materials.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver against tight deadlines while contributing effectively in a team environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience working in an international or global organization.
Experience managing or partnering closely with public relations, talent, entertainment, or creative agencies.
Experience developing relationships with artists, talent representatives, stylists, creators, media, and entertainment industry partners.
Experience connecting cultural partnerships and brand integrations to retail, wholesale, or other commercial opportunities.

Demonstrated passion for and knowledge of Hip Hop, music, fashion, and broader cultural trends.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position follows the adidas hybrid work policy and is based in Los Angeles, California. Employees are expected to work in the office Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Friday. In-office attendance may also be required on Fridays when the work requires a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation.
The role operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment that connects adidas with the music, entertainment, fashion, media, and influencer industries. Travel and attendance at relevant music, entertainment, industry, consumer, and brand events may be required. The working language for this position is English.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This role works under the direction of the Global Director and partners closely with Brand Marketing, Culture Marketing, global, regional, and local teams, as well as external agencies and entertainment industry partners. The Senior Manager may serve as a department lead in the Director's absence and provides guidance, training, and mentorship to other team members as needed.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,100 to $144,500. Actual salary will be determined based on factors including a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Employees are eligible to earn an annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
Benefits available to eligible Limited Duration employees include:

Flexible Time Off accrued at one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 80 hours per year.
Eleven Company-Designated paid holidays. LTD employees are not eligible for the Floating Holiday.
