Job Description
The Project Executive leads and supports Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers while maintaining strong relationships with clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.ย
Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level oversight for multiple commercial construction projects
- Establish project goals and ensure alignment with project schedules, budgets, contract requirements, and quality standards
- Lead project teams through planning, execution, and closeout
- Review project staffing, manpower, equipment, and material needs to support efficient project execution
- Set clear expectations, provide performance feedback, and promote accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members
- Maintain strong professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project partners
- Understand client objectives, address concerns, and provide proactive solutions throughout the project lifecycle
- Review and support the negotiation of owner contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and other contractual matters in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and Estimatingย
- Monitor project budgets, cost projections, expenses, billing, and cash flow
- Develop and implement cost-control strategies to prevent overruns and identify potential savings
- Review project progress, financial performance, schedules, and operational challenges with project leadership
- Identify project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation and corrective-action plans are implemented
Essential Skills
- Bachelorโs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Executive or in a similar construction leadership role
- Extensive commercial construction project management experience
- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on schedule and within budget
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, risk management, quality, and safety
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to review budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and other project financial data
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple project teams and manage competing priorities
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, project partners, and internal teams
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
