Job description

At Whitespace, Senior Front-End Developers are responsible for designing and implementing the solutions to our clients challenges. As a software developer, you will be working with a team of peers in a highly collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to elicit and clarify application requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members, from backend developers to visual designers, on developing product designs and implementing the application.
  • Mentor junior developers and serve as a lead developer when needed.
  • Continuously work to evolve team best practices associated with front-end development.

Requirements:

  • Eligible candidates need to be authorized to work within the United States.
  • Strong knowledge of React with TypeScript
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with Object Oriented or Functional Programming.
  • Work in a JVM based language such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
  • Familiar with Test Driven Development.
  • Interested in Pair Programming.
  • Experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP, etc...)
  • 5+ years of experience
