THE JOB / Senior Account Executive (Sports /CSR) (Financial Services Client)CLIENT SERVICES/ Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs.

Ready to manage an ever-expanding partnership portfolio within sports, entertainment, and inclusive community programming?
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team to help create and orchestrate integrated sponsorship campaigns across our financial services client's Team Sports and Corporate Social Responsibility portfolio, including MLB, NFL, NBA, Special Olympic partnerships and more.
Reporting to the Account Director, you'll support our team in collaborating closely with our clients, internal groups (Strategy, Creative, Experiences), and external agencies, to develop programs that embody our client's brand while harnessing the uniqueness and spirit of each campaign.
Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, a self-starter and is comfortable taking the lead and voicing their opinions and ideas.
THE WORK YOU'LL DO
- Support integration across client, internal teams, and external partners, helping ensure sponsorship programs are executed seamlessly across experiential channels
- Prepare necessary documents supporting strategic planning and ideation, sponsorship asset trackers, competitive reviews, POVs, property research, etc.
- Assist in the coordination of projects with clients, external agency partners, and internal Octagon specialty groups
- Assist with the planning and execution of experiential marketing programs both in-person and virtual across multiple programs
- Support the development of client relationships through proactive communication, clear reporting, and responsiveness to client needs
- Develop a working knowledge and understanding of financial service client's business initiatives and marketing trends, serving as a subject matter expert as you build your knowledge base
- Manage documents such as budgets, status reports, inventory tracking, and meeting agenda and notes
- Participate in brainstorms and creative ideation and provide research as requested
- Additional projects as assigned

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2-4 years of experience in sports marketing and/or client management
- A passion and expertise in sports, CSR programs, entertainment, gaming, music, and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture
- Able to foster relationships - internally and externally - and find opportunities to contribute to every interaction
- Coachable and willing to adapt to a fast-paced work environment, with a mentality that no job is too small or too big
- Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A go-getter, you demonstrate initiative and embrace new challenges
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%)
This position pays $50,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
