Job description

Qualifications:

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Security Sales Advisor to join our Security Sales team working with Fortune 1000 customers in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. As such, you will partner effectively with the core and cross functional teams within WWT to formulate and drive an all-encompassing strategy from an idea to a business outcome. This position will be focused on achieving goals by selling World Wide Technology's suite of Security products and services through multiple OEM's. Candidates who have experience selling Enterprise Strategic projects would be preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Focus on profitable revenue generation in security product and services with large customer clientele
  • Experience with major cybersecurity OEMs eg. Cisco, Fortinet, Tanium, Zscaler, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks etc preferred.
  • Expanding WWTs presence thru driving relevance to customer's key business objectives
  • Professional networking to build relationships with C-level executives and decision-making managers at targeted clients.
  • Maintaining client and OEM relationships, Creating Value for client account from Idea to Outcome
  • Lead the selling strategy creating short and long-term plans based on research and a deep understanding of business and technology trends
  • Determining the optimal (and appropriate) coverage model across all teams and organizations within WWT
  • Have expert level knowledge in one or more of the following cybersecurity areas; security architecture, cloud security, risk management, compliance, security governance, networks, protocols, threat management, change management, vulnerability management and overall cyber security best practices.
  • Develop enablement material for marketing efforts that includes creation of articles, quality presentations, videos and other forms of media.
  • Required certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC (at least one or comparable skills and experience)
  • Demonstratable experience as a project or task lead and working with professionals across organizations
  • Have broad subject-matter experience and able to field discussions across the spectrum of cybersecurity whether technical or strategic
  • Demonstrated success executing across multiple initiatives, exceptional time management skills and comfort navigating uncertainty
  • Knowledge of the various industry and government strategies and standards in privacy and cybersecurity
  • Extensive ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments under adjusting priorities
  • Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences
