Job Description:Summary

This position is part of the Webber Infrastructure Management and will support various project technology systems being used in the company and will also provide data management support for our regional and corporate operations. This role will help in management and enhancement of current systems, support the implementation of new ones, as well as ensure that all the best practices and standards are adhered to while using these systems. This role will also provide active document management support by overseeing document control processes and procedures under the purview of the Project Controls department.

Responsibilities
  • Support various digital tools and processes being used in the company and help with data management tasks for regional and corporate operations.
  • Assist with implementation of digital procedures, tools and platforms by actively contributing during the design, execution and implementation (go-live) phase, making sure standardization is achieved at the different projects.
  • Work with the vendor/consultant and the company stakeholders to finalize the design and specifications of the system.
  • Support project execution through active coordination, tracking changes, monitoring progress with respect to the schedule and providing feedback.
  • Support tasks during project go-live and maintain active collaboration with the users post go-live to collect feedback, troubleshoot issues and facilitate support.
  • Prepare training and support material and facilitate periodic training to the users to keep them update to date with the features.
  • Support the development of creative reporting tools to communicate project status and other summary reports to all levels of project and Company management as well as to the Client.
  • Facilitate management of information through different phases of construction from estimating to execution to close out, ensuring efficient collaboration with the resources for each of the projects so that the implementation is consistent and standardized for within each business unit.
  • Support the development of information management procedures and implementation of a single platform for project information management.
  • Assist in development of best practices related to work procedures, information management, and project control processes and ensure they are being used at the ground level.
  • Assist in creating new forms, templates, checklists, workflows and managing existing ones, in various company systems like Heavy Job, Procore, Office 365, CMMS that are in accordance with business operation needs.
  • Perform troubleshooting and support existing systems and assist in creating new forms, templates for different projects and business units across the company aligning with their requirements.
  • Assist in the development of process documentation, supervising data processing and programming, as well as delivering training to process owners on the correct document structure and control tool usage.
  • Perform audits for adherence to document control procedures, and conformance to best practices while using company systems on a monthly basis.
  • Support in development and maintenance of Tool Manuals, Document Control Procedures, "How -To" guidelines to ensure the latest updates and guidelines are accurately reflected.
  • Other unlisted duties will be required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, information systems, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of three (5) years' work experience in systems management, document control, or degree in construction management, information technology or related field.
  • Experience with construction/maintenance technology platforms such as Primavera P6,ArcGIS,CMMS, HeavyJob, Procore, budgeting and forecasting tools, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail are required.
  • Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive documents.
  • Proven team building skills are desired and should possess ability to work with people with different roles, background, and skill set.
  • Officebased role with periodic field or regional office visits.
  • Occasional exposure to active construction/Maintenance environments.
