WHO WE ARE:

To support our mission, we are seeking a Systems Analyst III to join the Unemployment Insurance Administration and Operational Support (UIA&OS) team. WHO YOU ARE:
The ideal candidate must be skilled to perform complex (journey-level) computer systems analysis work. They are an integral member of the team, ensuring that all systems are operational, and that staff have the software and functioning equipment needed to serve our customers. Work involves desktop, application and telephone support to on-site and remote users in a call center and office environment. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate for this position should have direct work experience with desktop applications, telephony, and computer support to multiple users. This is a career ladder position with the opportunity to advance within the established career ladder structure after meeting minimum qualifications, competency requirements, and time in position.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
- Provide desktop and application support for approximately 1100 users across the UI Division at multiple locations and business areas.
- Provide informal training and orientation to staff, both on an individual and group basis, on use of assigned computer, telecommunications equipment, and applications.
- Open, monitor, and escalate service tickets as needed and coordinates with vendors on repair and replacement of equipment.
- Generate comprehensible reports based on data collected from multiple sources including Microsoft SQL, DB2, INFORMIX, Microsoft Access, etc.
- Develop, test, and deploy, automating repeatable tasks using PowerShell Scripting and/or Visual Basic Scripts (VBS).
- Monitor, manage, and update Avaya telecommunications equipment, such as Avaya Aura Communications Manager, Session Manager, and Session Border Controller, along with other telecommunications equipment.
- Serve as Property Control Officer (PCO), monitoring and maintaining equipment inventories in accordance with agency policies.
- Develop, analyze, and update procedures, job aids, business, and disaster recovery plans and documents along with serving as a recovery coordinator for one or more systems.
- May need to work outside normal business hours when needed and provide on call activities.
- Perform other duties and completes special projects as assigned.
YOU QUALIFY WITH:
-Two years of full-time experience which provided general knowledge of data processing or systems analysis.
-Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
-One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Systems Analyst II or Programmer III with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including but not limited to SharePoint 365 development and authoring.
- Advanced troubleshooting, researching, and analysis abilities.
- Ability to gather system requirements and prepare technical documentation quickly, concisely, and accurately.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating work efforts with others.
- Ability to work quickly and perform multiple tasks while paying attention to detail.
